I've added support for the PicLens browser plug-in. Here is the description from their website:
"PicLens transforms your browser into a full-screen, 3D experience for photos and videos across the web. Media comes to life via a cinematic presentation that goes beyond the confines of the traditional browser window. Available for Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Safari."
Once installed, just click the PicLens icon in your browser while doing a search to bring up the PicLens gallery.
To all you Americans celebrating the Fourth of July, here is how Nemo and his friends celebrated one hundred years ago.
And here are a few other Independence Day celebrations.
In other site news, I've added the excellent Meeting McCay blog to the books and resources page.
I've redesigned the news page to this two column format. Now, any site news I post will not be knocked off the front page by new strip posts. Everybody wins.
I've added a new feature to the site. Now, when you search by a term that's part of the Thesaurus for Graphic Materials (the list of headings with which the comics in the Comic Strip Library are described), a helpful list of related terms will be displayed. Try it out by browsing through the clickable "shown" terms on the comic display pages, or by typing in searches like "animals" or "musical instruments". If the term is part of the thesaurus, and contains related terms that are used in the collection, a list of related terms will appear.
